The coasters are fashioned by brass founders and coppersmiths using pure metals and alloys that will oxidize over time. The coasters are sold in sets of four, and the graphically patinated disks will age gracefully as their lacquer fades to reveal the natural wear of their use. Each piece is backed with natural cork to protect delicate surfaces.
